Compliments of the Season from the bar

The bar staff look forward to seeing YOU over the Festive Season! Even if you never or rarely visit the bar when you are down at the Club, why not give it a go this December?

We will be serving excellent draught real ale as usual, together with lager, cider and wines as well as a selection of low alcohol beers and cider and a range of soft drinks.

For the winter season you can also choose Mulled Wine, warming Scotch and Irish whiskies, fine brandy and a range of rums. Prosecco and Cava are always available.

Most Wednesday evenings there is an opportunity to try your skill against our regular darts players you might even be picked for the team! We also have a new (to us) pool table and a table football machine.

You can also be sure of a warm welcome from other members and there are lots of events over Christmas and New Year to tempt you along, including a Christmas Lunch on Sunday 15th, Sing along to festive music provided by members as you munch mince pies and quaff mulled wine on Friday 20th and an American supper and live music by the Nuthin Yet Band on New Year's Eve 31st December.

The club bar will be open also on Boxing Day and New Year's Day at lunchtime in addition to usual hours. (It will not open on Wednesday evening 1st January).

Just one plea from the Bar Manager:

Please do not bring your own alcoholic drinks in for consumption on the premises as this is illegal and could cost us our licence.

If there is something you would particularly like to drink which we don't normally have, such as champagne on New Year's Eve, email me on bar@langstonesc.org.uk and I will see what can be done, (given at least 7 days' notice).
