The BEAULIEU Cruiser Rally - 13th to 15th July

This is a 3-day, 2 night rally, the first night stopping off at the Folly, before sailing in company down the Beaulieu River and into the heart of the New Forest for the final night
The Beaulieu River and Bucklers Hard is progressively becoming one of the most difficult venues to secure a visitor's berth. Being one of the few privately owned rivers in the world, the river has been under the custodianship of the Montagu family for over four centuries. Today the Beaulieu River is a beautiful and tranquil spot, well-loved by yachtsmen and nature enthusiasts.
We have managed secure 12 berths for a 1-night stay on the Walk Ashore Pontoon.
As with all rallies you may be able to extend your stay.
The programme is as follows:
- Sunday 13th July - The Folly Walk-Ashore Pontoon - Tide Chichester HW 14.14 BST 4.5m
Giving members the opportunity to sail down through the Solent in company and up the picturesque Medina River to a booked berth on the Folly pontoon. There will be a need to collectively raft up on the walk-ashore pontoon.
Welcome drinks at 6.00pm on the pontoon, followed by a pre-booked dinner at the Folly Inn at 7.00pm.
- Monday 14th July Beaulieu Marina (Walk Ashore Pontoon) Leaving on Tuesday 15th July. Tide - Portsmouth HW 15.39
The Beaulieu Marina has a great deal to offer the visiting yachtsperson, with probably some of the best facilities in the Solent and being situated in the heart of the New Forest National Park there are many great walks to be had.
Alternatively, those seeking a scenic escape, while not relax in this peaceful haven or visit the historic Bucklers Hard.
A BYO (bring your own food / utensils) BBQ has been organised for the Monday evening.
