This One-day course covers all the usual first aid subjects, but from a boating perspective. It is aimed at anyone who goes afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages. This course is MCA approved and satisfies the requirements for Coastal Skipper Yachtmaster and Advanced Powerboat certificates of competence and some commercial work afloat. The RYA First Aid course will give you the skills you need.

If you don't want to join in with the fun race why not come along anyway and watch the action? When the sailors return to shore there will be time to change and put the boats to bed before the Commodore's Welcome at 18.00 and your free glass of Prosecco at the clubhouse, (soft drinks, wine or beer are also available -remember to ask for your ticket before you come in).

Junior Week 20 21 Monday 23 rd to Friday 2 7 th August Junior Week 20 21 will involve rigging, launching and recovering up to 25 dinghies and 7 safety boats with children aged 8 - 16 with a lot of younger children .

LSC Junior Week planning would, in a normal year, be well under way with bookings taken months ago. In this second Covid year, we have been watching, waiting and trying to anticipate what the status, government position and RYA advice will be, come the 22nd August.
