Antifouling: the good and the bad!
The good: Antifouling is necessary to protect the bottom of a boat from marine growth and it helps improve fuel efficiency and also helps prevent the spread of invasive species. Obstruction and Reduced Air Draft on Langstone Bridge
Mariners are advised that electrical cables normally attached to the underside of the Langstone Bridge, also known as the Hayling Road Bridge, have been damaged and are now hanging from the structure into the water resulting in one of the spans on the north end of the Bridge to be impassable to vessel traffic.

CRUISER RALLY 23rd to 28th June - WEYMOUTH (Town Quay) RALLY
REPORT and PHOTOS The Weymouth rally proved to be a great success in spite of the challenging sea conditions. The first 2 days saw the fleet beating to windward against spring tides and strong westerly winds, overnighting at the Folly and the Folly Inn for a hearty meal in good company, before heading off the following day (conditions got worse) to Yarmouth Harbour.
