Mooring & Berthing
The Mooring and Berthing Officer is responsible for cruiser and dinghy summer and winter berthing / moorings and organises cruiser lift-in and lift-out. Check the online calendar for more information HERE
Please avoid using the slipway during launch and lift-out.
To Cruiser owners read the What is the Cruiser boat Insurance Scheme?
If you require a mooring, Winter or Summer storage for your cruiser please contact Chris mooringandberthing@langstonesc.org.uk in advance.
If you require Summer or Winter storage for your
dinghy, tender, canoe, kayak, paddleboard etc please send an email to dinghyberthing@langstonesc.org.uk
If you launch and recover your own cruiser you must liaise in advance with Nigel Catling / Chris Pines mooringandberthing@langstonesc.org.uk
A key / combination must be supplied to the Mooring and Berthing Officer for items (including dinghies and trailers) that are locked on site.
The layout of on-site boat storage changes between summer and winter to allow for cruiser storage. Dinghies must be either removed from the dinghy park or moved to their winter storage area see by the end of October : check the Dinghy Move date on the calendar : HERE. This is to allow the site to be prepared for lift out and brought back in April after lift-in.
We currently have a handful of affordable tidal moorings available for club members.
