A month on and still reflecting on what proved to be a great LSC rally to Weymouth. As we face another weekend of strong winds, the rally will certainly be remembered for the beautiful weather, the calm seas, and most importantly the great company......and the long periods of the peace and quiet on the water only broken when Patricia (Ampotis) made another personal call on VHF to the coastguard......classic. A big thank you must go out to John & Mary for hosting the event....and setting the benchmark for food and drink on the pontoon get togethers....and J & M don't worry your secret is safe with us.....as they say, What happens on a rally stays on a rally. So here's looking forward to the West Cowes & Southampton Water rally on the 18th August and an opportunity once again to sail in company, but this time down through Southampton Water, along the New Forest foreshore and onwards to the thriving town centre.
