Notice of the Winter General Meeting

To take place at the club and online, on

Friday 27th February 2026 at 20.00.

This is the formal notice of the Winter General Meeting which, as a Full Member, you are invited to attend. The Langstone Sailing Club Article No 29 requires that The Winter Meeting shall:

(a) Receive the report of the Commodore on the operation of the various Committees.

(b) Receive the report of the Honorary Treasurer and the Accounts for the year, ending 31st October 2025.

(c) Appoint a Scrutineer.

(d) Transact any special business mentioned in the Agenda of the Meeting.

Thirty Full Members shall form a quorum at any General Meeting.

The Winter General Meeting is also an opportunity for members to add to the agenda an item of special business but please note as part of article 31(e)

"Any special business to be discussed at General Meetings must be notified to the Honorary Secretary 28 days before the meeting, by not less than five Full Members."
