KAYAK Round the Island in one tide - RIOT -

Following a successful Dinghy RIOT last month, Stewart set out to repeat the Round the Island On a Tide this time by kayak.

Starting early morning, conditions could not have been better : no wind, mirror-calm water. Along the way, basking seals - which were not disturbed -, and cormorants

The loop 23.km in 4h32mn felt completely different without sails, slower in speed but richer in stillness.
