IMPORTANT LSC PARKING AND PONTOON USAGE
Published 16:01 on 18 Jun 2026
As a reminder, there are restrictions detailed in the LSC byelaws 57 and 58 on use of the pontoon and parking on site. In summary:
- Parking (see byelaw 57 for detail)
Between lift-in and lift-out (ie Mar - Oct) parking south of the road barrier to the east of the clubhouse and the disabled spaces to the west is prohibited - this includes the dinghy park.
Vehicles may stop to load/unload for a maximum of 20 minutes but must then park to the north of the clubhouse.
Vehicles must not be used to launch/recover boats from the slipway during an on-water event scheduled in the club calendar without the express permission of the event organiser.
Speed limit on site is 5mp
All vehicles should display an LSC sticker (available from the bar)
- Pontoon (see byelaw 58 for detail)
Except the club launch, boats must not stay on the pontoon for extended periods - any stay over 48 hours must be approved by a committee member.
The first cleats (southern end) on the east side are reserved for loading/unloading - no boats should be left unattended there.
All or parts of the pontoon may be reserved for club events
The Byelaws can be found here
During Junior Week and lift-in/lift-out there will be additional restrictions in place for both parking and the pontoon.
