Try a Boat and Litter Pick

To celebrate the King's Coronation the Club is running the following:

• 10am-12 noon Litter Pick

Please support LSC by joining in our litter pick as part of the Coronation BIG HELP OUT day. Claire Ashton will be doing a briefing in front of the boat shed at 10:15am.We will have bags, litter pickers and a few gloves, but if you are able to bring your own gardening/work gloves that would be excellent. We aim to be finished picking by 11:45am so that we can sort all the bags.

• From 12 noon - Bacon butties and Coronation chicken wraps from the galley

• 1-4pm - Try a Boat; Dinghy, Kayak or Paddleboard

Unfortunately, due to forecast of strong winds on Monday afternoon, we have cancelled try a dinghy, including kayaks and SUPs. However, we are going ahead with a kayak and SUP relay. Meet in boat house 13.00 for a 13.20 start.

The litter pick is still on, and the bar will be open with some basic galley bits.

Your opportunity to try the club boats, including Dinghies*; Quest (2-4 people), Feva (1-2 people), Vision (2 people), Kayaks and Paddlesboards (SUPs). Booking on the day

* helms must have RYA 2 or demonstrable equivalent experience, if you need a helm let us know and will we try to find one

If we get enough help we will also re-run the fun kayak/SUP relay race held at the Queen's Jubilee.
