Langstone Sailing Club represented in the ARC 2018 Opening ceremony

The ARC is a 'must do' for many sailors, and attracts over 200 boats and 1200 people every year to sail 2700 NM across the Atlantic from Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia.The majority of boats and crews taking part in the 33rd edition of the ARC – the world's largest transocean rally for cruisers - have now arrived in their temporary 'home' of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Today, it was time to mark the official opening ceremony of ARC 2018.

Start date Sunday 25 November, the fleet will begin their ocean adventure from Gran Canaria to Santa Lucia.
