Overview

Junior Sailing (8-18 years) LSC has a strong junior section that meet regularly on and off the water and race in open events at clubs in the harbour.

Specific events are run for junior and youth sailors including the JIB Juniors in Boat sessions. The objective is to improve sailing skills and confidence of being on the water. Parental help is required to provide safety cover and help to rig, launch and recover boats.

Youth sailors are welcome to join in the full dinghy programme but must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult.

What to wear : Wetsuit, wet shoes, rash vest, warm top, buoyancy aid.
