The Restless Coast: A Journey Around the Edge of Britain

The Island of Britain has over 10,000 miles of coastline, steeped in history that is constantly shifting, changing, adapting and providing.

The Restless Coast is a moving and beautiful account of a journey around it, during which the author travels its length, to its challenges and opportunities and to talk to the people trying to protect it. Roger will present the difficulties facing our modern coastline and the champions who are working hard to improve things.
It features a chapter on Langstone Harbour and its ongoing environmental impediments and natural denigration. Two of our members feature prominently in this chapter.
