Langstone Harbour Advisory Forum meeting: The commodore and I went to a very interesting meeting at the beginning of the month where we learnt about the latest projects to introduce oysters back into Langstone Harbour and growing sea grass. LSC DINGHY PRO AM Event Saturday 7th May 15:00 and Race theory coaching 14:00
This is a popular racing event where the double handed dinghies are used. A 'Pro', someone with good club racing experience, is paired with an 'Am', a less experienced sailor. The aim is to have fun and improve the skill of our sailors. We need names of participants in advance so we can arrange the pairings before the 7th May Come and join in the fun of the Pro-Am

Parking at the club 4 June As you know there is a major club event on 4 June, the Queens Jubilee Family Fun Day. It would be great to see you there but if you are away on your boat, and will be parking a car at the club, we would ask you to park in a specific area. This area will be marked on the grass

Planting of SEA BUCKTHORN and Site Litter Pick SATURDAY 23rd APRIL start 10:30

Sea Buckthorn is a good environmental plant for helping with erosion so we are hoping to plant some bushes along the bank that faces into Langstone Harbour. 1. Cruiser owners : As the cruisers are getting prepared for the summer and boats will be being anti-fouled. I would like to remind you all to protect the ground underneath you boat with a tarpaulin or groundsheet/dustsheet to capture paint drips and drops. GALLEY NEWS
This is an exciting time to announce, with the certainty we can remain open, recommencement of galley provision. Hurray! Get your diaries ready for fulfilling those duties if you prefer a more on-shore option. Opening Sunday 20 th March covering the lunchtime bar opening, come down and support us! Galley opening will be a little different as we strive to make more use of the clubhouse.
