This One-day course covers all the usual first aid subjects, but from a boating perspective. It is aimed at anyone who goes afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages. This course is MCA approved and satisfies the requirements for Coastal Skipper Yachtmaster and Advanced Powerboat certificates of competence and some commercial work afloat. The RYA First Aid course will give you the skills you need.

The annual Bart's Bash event has been again a success at LSC with 38 boats taking part, £160 were donated to the Andrew Simpson Foundation. Barts Bash was inspired by Olympic Gold and Silver medalist Andrew 'Bart' Simpson MBE who passionately believed that everyone should have the chance to try sailing and enjoy the many benefits that it brings. Junior Week 20 21 Monday 23 rd to Friday 2 7 th August Junior Week 20 21 will involve rigging, launching and recovering up to 25 dinghies and 7 safety boats with children aged 8 - 16 with a lot of younger children .
